Life is something.
If you would have told me 16 years ago that I’d be living the way I am today. I’d laugh at you and say “I’m gonna be a power ranger, when I grow up.”
It’s funny how things can seem so bad but be so good at the same time.
And then I remember that it’s 90% perception.
I smile today, with all the thoughts in my head.
I will keep this smile until the world ends.

I see now that it’s me who’s truly won.

An update on my goals.
Goals for 2012
Become a more social and happy individual.
I’m getting better at being happy just no care ever for socializing with people that aren’t cool
TryHard at getting a job and eventually get a job.Get a Better Job.
Go back to college and get into something involving computers.
I want to do this so bad. I must make plans.
Organize my free time towards my family, gaming/writing, and my girlfriend.
Apparently my family and writing aren’t important to me.
Finally get my driver’s license.
Nope. Still haven’t. Gotta stop being lazy.
Maintain an appearance that is socially acceptable.
Sort of doing this. I mean I don’t think I look terrible anymore.
Find a way to attend PAX East.
Did that.
Visit Dakoda at least twice.
One more time.
Keep fighting my depression, don’t let it take hold.
THIS IS THE THING I HAVE MADE THE MOST PROGRESS WITH.
Remember to stop and enjoy the little things in life.

In an alternate reality, another path I could have taken.
I fell in love with a different girl.
I lived in a different town and I had a job at GameStop.
I watched as things crumbled in front of me.
I lost my job over a misunderstanding,
I lost the girl over a pretty big fight,
and I lost control shortly after.
I opened the door to the room I slept in.
I saw her with another and I lost my morality.
My sense of control.
I slammed my fists into the wood of the door.
Breaking, Cracking, scraping, bleeding.
When they noticed me, I was smiling.
Reaching for a blade I kept in my desk.
With the new found weapon I approached the pair.
I’ll never forget the look of dread my mind created for their faces.
I had to wake up.
This was not me.
I will earn my place in this World.
